Q.  What is your return policy? back to top
A.  Sudbury Lumber Company will accept any returned item that is in saleable condition along with the original sales receipt. Special order products such as set-up door units or factory ordered merchandize are non-returnable, a 10-20 percent charges may apply to special order returns.  
     
Q.  What is your delivery policy? back to top
A.  Our delivery is free of charge for orders tallying over $250.00. For orders under $250.00 there will be a $10.00 delivery charge. We also bill for delivering any masonry product which is not combined with a lumber order greater that $250.00.  
     
Q.  How do I set up a delivery? back to top
A.  It is rather simple. All you have to do is to call your salesperson or the shipping department to set up a time and place for delivery in accordance to your convenience.  
     
Q.  How can I have a boom truck delivery? back to top
A.  Boom truck deliveries are reserved for roofing material, siding material and house frame distributions. We can accommodate most requests for boom truck deliveries within a few days.  
     
Q.  I am on the lookout for a sub-contractor could you recommend someone? back to top
A.  Sudbury Lumber Company is the place where professional contractors shop. We recommend only the best and most qualified contractors in the area. Feel free to call for a recommendation.  
     
Q.  I am a homeowner building my own house or addition? back to top
A.  Come down and meet our sales team. Guidance for product recommendations, design and structure of your project, and cost savings opportunities will be addressed by your salesperson. We have an extensive list of quality sub contactors that we will be glad to hand you. You will be set up with a commercial credit account for your current and future ventures. Your project will receive the same attention as our largest homebuilder account.  
     
Q.  How do I open a commercial charge account? back to top
A.  Generally you must have a business checking account, have been in business for two or more years, and have three solid trade references from other local suppliers.  
     
Q.  What if I do not want a charge account? back to top
A.  Sudbury Lumber Company offers loyal customer cash accounts. You will receive the privileges of having a commercial charge account without the monthly bills.  
     
Q.  How can I receive an estimate on a blue print? back to top
A.  Call, stop by, or email Sudbury Lumber Company. For existing customers of Sudbury Lumber Company there is no charge for this service. We do charge for some take-off estimates, but the charge is refunded if the material is purchased at Sudbury Lumber Company. This service can be time consuming and depending on the scope of the project usually takes one-two weeks
